I’m always fervently waiting,
Sweaty palms against forest cheeks
For the moment to arise
And then it does
And then I would rather
Suffocate dog-dazed in perpetuity
Because I thrive
When I am a skyscraper presently in demise
The earth beneath me billows
And I go down in such a devastating spectacle
Fireworks from a cadaveric spasm
